Terms of Service

Payment

A 50% deposit is payable before work begins, with the balance due on completion and before the site goes live. Care plan fees are billed monthly in advance.

Quoted prices are in South African Rand and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.

Timelines

We give an estimated timeline in every quote. Delays caused by outstanding content, feedback or approvals from your side will shift the delivery date accordingly.

Revisions

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds, stated in the quote. Additional rounds are billed at our standard hourly rate.

Content and materials

You are responsible for the text, images and logos you supply, and confirm you have the right to use them. We'll flag anything that looks like it might not be licensed, but the responsibility rests with you.

Ownership

Once the final invoice is settled, the website and its content are yours. This includes the source code and the right to move it to another provider or developer.

We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Hosting and care plans

Care plans run month to month and can be cancelled by either party with 30 days notice. If a plan is cancelled we'll assist with a handover to your new host.

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime, as this depends in part on third-party infrastructure.

Liability

Our liability in connection with any project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruption.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
